Boston IFF Selects “Approaching Normal” – Showing April 19th in Boston

I have received some exciting news about the feature film “Approaching Normal” where I play one of the leading roles. The Boston International Film Festival 2014 has selected “Approaching Normal” for this year’s festival event. As one of only 100 films selected from over 2600 submissions this is a unique honor. I’m especially pleased that this means the first worldwide theatrical release will happen so close to where so many of my friends and family live.

This festival is open to the public and tickets are now on sale for “Approaching Normal.” Please come join my wife Julie and me for the premier. Many of the actors, producers, and directors will be present.  The movie will be screening at 5pm (Screening 28) on Saturday, April 19th, 2014 at AMC Loew’s Theater on Boston Common.

Here’s how to purchase a ticket:

  1. Click on the Ticket Website link below. It will likely tell you there are no showings. That’s okay. See step 2.
  2. Click the “Set Location” button.
  3. Add the zip code “02116” when the location pop-up window appears.
  4. Choose “AMC Loews Boston Common” from the list that pops up.

About the Film

Plot Summary From IMDB: After twenty years, Andy decides attend his father’s 70th birthday getaway unannounced. How does this once tightly knit family deal with the return of a lost brother, son and uncle. This event causes a string of interpersonal problems to come out after years of repression. Ultimately, it’s a film about what it means to become a family, again.
