Mommy Grew Wings Film – Online Worldwide Release

I’m excited to announce the online worldwide release of the film Mommy Grew Wings, in which I play a leading role. You can view the film below.

Mommy Grew Wings is the story of a father searching for the best way to explain to his young daughter the loss of her mother, his wife, to illness.

This project inspired me because of how well writer/director Miller Pipkin captured the poignancy of death and dying as relates to young families. He didn’t take cheap shots at the emotions of the audience but instead brought it to us in a true-to-life believable way. The film transcends the real-world interactions between father and daughter by juxtaposing those against a fantasy the two imagine together as they explore the death and departure that faces them both. Beautiful shifts in and out of fantasy show how faith, hope, and story can help us cope with the reality of loss.

I’m honored to have been part of such a meaningful project.

Here it is … enjoy!
